A Church Plant is a lot of things:

1. It's a brand new church started by pastors, families and individuals.
2. It's a mission work in an area where God has led church planters to introduce others to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
3. It's family.  Many church plants start out with a core team of people that develop a close-knit bond as their hearts are tied together through a united purpose.  
4. It's an opportunity for the lost to be won to Jesus through in-home Bible studies and relationship building.  It's also an opportunity for believers in Jesus to put their faith into action by joining the team and starting Bible studies and building relationships with others.
