Through Small Groups

Financial support and the commitment of the core team has enabled LLC to start Bibles Studies and small group worship/devotion time.  We've seen new friends come and have had some time of real dynamic growth.  Keep praying that the opportunities arise to start more groups.

Through Serving

It's amazing what a smile and a cool cup of water can do!  We've determined as a church to reach out to the Harrisburg/Hummelstown/Hershey area through meeting their needs.  Your support enables us to "wow" our neighbors with the love of Christ.  We rise early the first day of each week in September and serve coffee and donuts to our neighbors (one of the largest apartment communities in Harrisburg).  Twice in the past month we've held ice-cream socials outside our buildings and have met many neighbors.  We'll be providing and serving desert at the local volunteer fire company monthly fund raiser dinner.  We're offering Sunday morning kickball for families after our prayer-walking time.  Each one of these projects enables us to meet more and more people, start relationships, and demonstrate the love of Jesus practically.  We are blown away by God's faithfulness to simply serving!

It takes a lot of partners and friends to get a brand new church going.  Churches such as:

Valley Baptist Church in Middletown, PA

East Shore Baptist in Harrisburg, PA

Sarasota Baptist Church in Sarasota, FL

2nd Baptist Church in Conway, AR

have believed in a new work in the east Harrisburg/Hummelstown, PA area and have made substantial commitments to openly partner at many levels to help start Living Legacy Church.  

It also takes partners to give of themselves and devote their personal and families spiritual walk to being part of the core-team of Living Legacy Church.  These individuals make a brand new church like LLC their new church home and have adopted a mission-minded philosophy of going and telling everyone in Harrisburg the good news of Christ.

Finally are the many individual partners and friends who give sacrificially of their prayers, time and finances to help this new church work especially during it's infancy stage.  You know who you are and we thank you in the name of the Lord.

Through Prayer

We began as a team of mission-minded individuals committed covering the east Harrisburg area in prayer by walking and praying for our neighbors.  We continue to prayer walk with teams and pray corporately for the many that God brings across our path as we minister and serve.
